A small firm, on purpose.
Fine & Fettle looks after second homes on the north Cornish coast.
I began my career with a traditional building apprenticeship before serving for twenty-four years in the military. Those years instilled a deep respect for quality, precision and attention to detail, while developing the discipline, problem-solving ability and discretion that continue to shape the way I work today.
When caring for your property, I understand that trust is everything. Every home is looked after with professionalism, reliability and complete discretion, ensuring your property is cared for quietly, respectfully and to the highest possible standard. Whether it's routine maintenance, preparing your home for your arrival or responding quickly when something needs attention, my focus is always on delivering exceptional service and complete peace of mind.
My wife brings the hospitality side, learned in some of Cornwall's finest hotels, where the standard expected of a house is rather higher than most people apply at home. It is the standard we work to.
We are a family business and we keep the book deliberately small, so that every property gets the time and attention it deserves and so that whoever attends your house is somebody who knows it. There is no shortage of people in Cornwall who will clean a holiday let between guests. There are rather fewer who will walk an empty house every fortnight in February, look at it properly, and write down what they found. That is the gap this firm was set up to fill.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of looking after the homes and properties of many successful clients, earning their trust through discretion, reliability and consistently high standards of care.
Fine & Fettle has been built on those same principles. I am not trying to build the biggest company in Cornwall. I am building a reputation—one founded on trust, attention to detail and the quiet confidence that comes from doing things properly, every single time.
